Founder & CEO
“Enabling Capability. Empowering the Future.”

With over 38 years at the forefront of India’s power sector, he represents a rare blend of operational excellence, strategic foresight, and people-centric leadership. His career is rooted in NTPC, where he rose through the ranks and eventually retired as Chief General Manager, leading complex functions across a fossil-fuel–based, Super Thermal Power Station with consistency, clarity, and conviction.

Across these decades, he built a reputation for analytical thinking, execution discipline, and a steadfast commitment to developing people and processes. He has led mission-critical projects end-to-end—conceptualising, building, stabilising, and optimising them with a deep understanding of ground realities and organisational dynamics. Teams know him as a leader who brings calm to complexity and momentum to ideas.

Retirement, for him, wasn’t a finish line—it was a strategic pivot. Stepping into his next chapter as a Senior Energy Leader & Mentor to Future Power Sector Professionals, he channels his experience into nurturing talent, strengthening industry capabilities, and shaping the next generation of plant professionals.

This philosophy laid the foundation for Saksham — an institution established to elevate operational competency, leadership readiness, and safety culture in the power sector and linked industries. Under his stewardship, Saksham is not just a training partner; it’s a catalyst for capability-building, anchored in hands-on expertise and industry relevance.

His leadership continues to be guided by a simple but powerful belief: when people grow, organisations accelerate, and industries transform.
